4. Medical Image Data & Research Consent

- All uploaded images are de-identified — personal patient information must be removed before uploading

- Images are never sold to third parties with identifying information
- You may request removal of your uploaded content at any time by contacting info@woundwatch.health
⚕ WoundWatch handles all medical data with HIPAA and GDPR privacy principles in mind, including de-identification and secure storage. WoundWatch is a research and data platform, not a covered healthcare entity.

All data is stored securely using Supabase, a SOC 2 compliant database platform. We implement:
- Encrypted data storage and transmission (SSL/TLS)
- Access controls limiting who can view sensitive data
- De-identification of all medical images
- Regular security reviews

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Research partners — anonymized, de-identified wound data only, with your explicit consent
- Service providers — companies that help us operate the platform
